Why did most revolutions end by 1850? People stopped supporting war and conflict. Monarchs killed all of the revolutionaries. Revolutionaries succeeded in enacting change. Countries decided to return land to original owners.

In fact, the most relevant factor that brought most revolutions to an end, and prevented new ones from springing, is that people stopped supporting their rulers, or leaders, and chose to support instead a life of peace, and quiet. Also, this lack of support brought rebellious people to a stop, since they too could not find the necessary support in their fellow citizens. This is why the answer is A.
