What do you think Miss Maudie means when she says that Jem "gets more like Jack Finch everyday"?

    To kill a mockingbird is a novel written by an American Novelist, Nelle Harper Lee which was first published in 1960. Lee based her characters and plot on her childhood experiences and observations in her family and neighborhood. The theme of the novel is based on racism.

    Miss Maudie Atkinson is one of the primary characters in the novel. She is like a mother and mentor to Scout. Miss Maudie had known Uncle Jack Finch from her childhood. Miss Maudie sees Uncle Jack's reflection is in Jem especially fascination and wild imagination about Boo Radley is seen common in both Uncle Jack and Jem. That's why Miss Maudie says that Jem is becoming " ... more like Jack Finch Everyday."
