    Patrick Henry responded to calls that the colonies were not strong enough to fight the British by stating that if the colonies wait to become stronger, when will that be.

    He further was of the opinion that waiting will make the colonies weaker and the British stronger the more the British raise troops against the colonists an the colonies stand aside doing nothing.
