Which dialogue is punctuated incorrectly?

A."there, said he, there is something for you."

B. he stammered,"why, the gown you go to the theatre in. it looks very well to me."

C."what's the the matter?"he asked.

    A. "There, said he, there is something for you".

    I can see that the person forgot the ending quotation marks. The sentence is formatted correctly, but the author should've use ending quotations. Most people can get confused when writing dialogue and have the person in between. But, you can use this method-it freshest that dialogue instead of just using the same old "he said" after every line of dialogue.
