The answers to the question: Which historical allusions did President John F. Kennedy make in his Inaugural Address, would be: 1. The Civil War, 2. The American Revolution and 3. The Declaration of Independence.

    Explanation:

The Inaugural Address was one of John F. Kennedy's most memorable speeches, as he was inaugurated as the U. S's 35th President. The speech has been recognized as real masterpiece of literary devices, but probably one of the best studied has been the allusion to historical events that Kennedy uses as markers for American greatness and American influence on the global arena. Although not always direct, sometimes more subtly mentioned, but still very recognizable, Kennedy makes allusion to three events of American history that have marked the nation and turned it into what it was on that date, 20th January, 1961. These three historical events were: the Civil War, the American Revolution, and the principles set forth for America by the Declaration of Independence.
