Louis Braille's response to the problems with those books was to invent a new reading method: Braille's method.

Explanation:

Louis Braille was blind at a very young age when he had an awl accident at age 3 and lost his sight due to an infection.

This was not an impediment for him to continue his studies, and when he grew up he went to the only school for the blind that existed at that time. The problem was that the books they worked with were problematic. That is why Braille decided to make a new reading system.

Inspired by a method called "night writing" that aided soldiers by echo-encoding messages by touch, he was able to develop what is now known as the Braille method, publishing this alphabet in the short 20 years.

This resulted in many blind people like him having the opportunity to read.
