    Life of a Slave Girl is an autobiography written in 1861, it is the first book written by a former slave in America, and it is focused to the suffering of female slaves, how they were denied education and were separated from their families.

    The correct answer is:

    In Life of a Slave Girl we are shown how the family you were born into, determined your destiny and status and how Linda (the main character) kept her children hidden for seven years.
