This stanza mainly speaks about, the passage of the Bible in Genesis 3:19 "for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." affirming that men was created from dust. When Wadsworth says " Was not spoken of the soul" means this passage is making reference to the human body - not his soul-, that will return to dust eventually, giving an optimistic view about life after dead.
