Which of the following is regulated by the FLSA

    a. payment of a minimum hourly wage rate

    b. payment of overtime

    c. child labor

    d. all of the above

    e. none of the above

    Explanation:

The FLSA is the Fair Labor Standards Act, and it's responsible for establishing minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and standards for youth employment in the private sector and Federal, State and local governments. The established federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour since July 24, 2009.

Overtime hours must be paid at a rate equal or one half times the regular pay rate after 40 weekly working hours.

In terms of Child Labor, the act is designed to protect minors from being employed in jobs under bad conditions and that could affect their educational opportunities.
