The discourse of Franklin D. Roosevelt of 1941 in the United States Congress had as fundamental pillars the establishment of the four liberties. These were:

    1. Freedom of speech: all the communities and individuals have the freedom to express their ideas and opinions without fear of censorship or sanction.

    2. Freedom to worship God in his own way

    3. Freedom from want: standard of living guaranteeing an income to fulfill basic needs.

    4. Freedom for fear: reduction of armaments to avoid physical aggressions

The politics of the United States can be seen as an antithesis of these last two pillars, since for example the freedom from want has been replaced by the selfishness of capitalism that does not ensure a minimum vital and on the contrary promotes social inequality. On the other hand, freedom for fear can be seen ignored in the case of Cuba and the economic blockade carried out by the United States, who constantly press for the socialist government not to prosper and additionally, it is the country with the highest military spending in the world.
