    In the excerpt from "When I Have Fears that I May Cease to Be" (line 2), by John Keats, the literary technique that the author uses is a) assonance. Assonance happens when two or more words that are close repeat the same vowel sound, with a different consonant sound. Glean'd and teeming have both the same vowel sound and they are part of the metaphoric sense of harvesting. To glean is to harvest the leftovers of grain that follow the harvest.
