Animal Farm is a symbolization of Russia and the Soviet Union under communist rule. Mr. Jones represents Tsar Nicholas the II. Mr. Jones is human because he is seen as of higher power over the farm and the animals are only resources for his profit.

Humans are all over the place why not make the character an animal and make it interesting
