How does the narrator's embarrassed attitude towards her culture affect the way she describes events in the passage?

    By being embarrassed the narrator would have a different opinion of her culture as she would be embarrassed of what her culture is. It would affect the events by it being in the view of someone who is embarrassed of whatever is occurring
