    The answer would be A because a comma is used when another sentence adds to the current sentence. I don't know if that makes sense.

    The sentence is a run-on sentence which can easily be fixed by adding a coordinating conjunction (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so) and adding a comma to separate the two independent sentences.
