what has happened? if you were the narrator, what would you feel hearing these voices? (in reference to Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Premature Burial'

I would feel the same way. Knowing how the man feels at the end hearing his own voices, goes to show me what the brain can do that us as people have no control over. In all I would feel despaired and hopeless.
