Answer: Considering this poem focuses on the love of Pablo Neruda it is believed he wrote this poem for Matilde Urrutia who was Pablo Neruda's third wife and the reason why he wrote many of his romantic poems including "Your Laughter". Therefore, "Your Laughter" was written for Matilde Urrutia.
