    In his travelogue, he includes the information about the dry climatic condition in chapter 8, to inform the readers that why people in that region had to set their animals free.

    He describes the climatic condition of that region to be so dry that it would kill them. Because of the harsh dry climatic condition they had free their animals as it had the possibility of killing them too.
