B: Hey A!

A: What are you eating?

B: Some chinese delicacy? It taste so good!

A: What is it?

B: Shark fin soup. Its really expensive.

A: Have you read the news recently? They said sharks are becoming extinct soon ... Seriously ... you could substitute that soup with other ingredients ... the cartilage has no nutritional value! rolls eyes*

B: Why are they becoming extinct? They just take away the fins. They'll grow back.

A: They can't. Their fins are mercilessly cut off and then the sharks are thrown back to the water. Without the fins, sharks can't swim. So they just bleed to death or die of hunger at that spot.

B : Sorry I had no idea. I thought they could swim with their bodies and survive even after having their fins removed.

A: Come on, lets get an alternative to this soup. Mock shark fin soup okay? The mock version is actually vegetarian but it taste similar to shark fin soup. Its only a few blocks away.
