i do believe which means that the narrator is unsure when you say that that means you are unsure about something

You are looking for a detail that is not to be believed, making the narrator (the person speaking) to be unreliable. So as you read, which detail does not fit or is not believable? At the beginning, it states that the headkerchiefs were ten pounds. Think of a handkerchief, which is a very thin, light material. Even if the material used on the head where thicker, could they really be ten pounds? All the other details are plausible, meaning they could happen.
