The answer is situational irony. It is a use to easily identify the literary works. It is when incongruity appears between expectations of something to happen and what does actually happens instead. Some example of situational irony is the novel Harry Potter by J. K Rowling and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
