The lawyer losses his energy, his drive and his motivation to pursue his perceived entitlements to one who is rather humbled and reserved. He relinquishes his boisterous demeanor in exchange for a more held back and empathetic poise. His wild drive to accumulate wealth is replaced by a reprehensible attitude towards material objects.
