In the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird," when Scout asks if the Cunninghams are still their friends, Atticus responds, "Mr. Cunningham's basically a good man, he just has a few blind spots like the rest of us." What does Atticus mean by "blind spot?"

    When he says blind spots he means that Mr. Cunningham does not think that black people are equal to white people.
