Why would the actions of the Samaritan in Jesus's parable have been surprising to his original audience? A. Most members of Jesus's audience were Samaritans. B.     The answer is B. People of that time, Jews, thought of the Samaritans as 'dirt people' ... they had a word for it but I cannot think of it at the moment.
