To criticize a deductive argument logically, one might 1. hit the person making the argument. 2. show one of the premises is false. 3. show one of the premises is true. 4. show the conclusion follows validly from the premises.

    2. Show one of the premises is false. If a premise of the argument is shown to be false, than all the conclusions and deductions based on it are no longer logical. The person making the argument will either need to find a different premise to base their argument on or admit that it's false.
