Drunk driving is dangerous to society and can be stopped in many ways. Drunk driving takes the lives of many people, and in order to stop it, we as a society need to take a larger action. We can impose laws in order to raise fines against those who drive while intoxicated. Another way we could stop drunk driving would be to automatically send a person to jail/prison for a minimum sentence that would be determined later on. Drunk driving could also be reduced by taking someone's keys. When someone is out at a bar or somewhere drinking, they could be required to put away keys, or grab a taxi. A last way to reduce drunk driving is to not give someone alcohol unless they are with another person who will not be drinking, and who has a valid license and is able to drive. In conclusion, drunk driving can be prevented in numerous ways, we just have to find one that is effective.
