    The answer is c) 10%. When the deer eats grass, not all of the energy in the grass is consumed by the deer. Some of this energy is lost in other forms, such as heat energy. In general, all organisms only acquire about 10% of the energy of the organism it consumes. If the deer only acquired 1 percent or less of the energy, it wouldn't be an efficient food source
