What motivates Antigone to defy Creon's decree by burying her brother?

    Obedience to a higher law, and not the law that Creon's posed upon everybody. He forbade Antigone to bury her brother as he was considered to be a traitor, but Antigone still believed he deserved a proper burial and the funeral rites.
