What this act suggests about Gregor is that B. he is considerate and thoughtful toward others. Gregor has turned into a cockroach, which is a disgusting insect to look at. Nobody can stand looking at him while he is in such a condition, which is why he went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable talking to him and not having to look at his hideous form.
