    In the article "What makes good people do bad things?", Melissa Dittmann purposely included John Watson’s 1974 and Dr. Bandura’s 1975 experiments to support hers and professor’s Phillip Zimbardo’s opinion that social conditions influence behavior. Their experiments illustrate that people are more aggressive if they stay anonymous, but are on their best behavior if they know that they will be punished (being called "animals").
