SimonÍs encounter with the Lord of the Flies is one of the most important moments in the novel. Explain the significance of the name ñLord of the Fliesî and the relationship between the Lord of the Flies and the Beast.     Lord o the flies is the beast inside humanity and all the evill things we do. Simon and Piggy both represent positive qualitties ogf humanity and the beaest is irony bevause they think its so bad but humans are the real beast. Simons encounter shows that the boys will become savages
