    Both lines referenced from this excerpt break to the next line in the middle of the sentence without using any kind of punctuation to mark this break. This technique is called e njambment. This is very similar to an end-stop, the only difference being that the latter uses punctuation to cause the break, such as a comma, a dash, etc.
