Write an essay of why gum should be allowed in school?

Gum should be allowed in schools because kids are allowed to eat anything else why not gum? I know it is sticky and can get on things but so can almost anything else. if children can chew gum they will be less likely to talk in class. they will be so focused on chewing the gum. I am not that good at writing but whatever here you go : - )
