If you are referring to the story "Games at Twilight," then the correct answer is B. he hopes to defeat the older, bigger boy, Raghu.

Raghu is actually Ravi's older brother, and Ravi desperately wants to be better than him, and to prove to him that he also is quite good. In the end, Ravi does win, however, unfortunately, he is ignored and forgotten.
