Depending on your culture, it can lead you to be narrow-minded or more open-minded when exposed to different ways of living in the world. If you are used to seeing different people, religions, food, clothing and practices, then you are more likely more excepting of different people. Sometimes, seeing things done only in one way can cause you to only believe in only one "right" way of doing things.
