A. She believes that Demetrius rejected her because she is not as pretty as Hermia.

Helena is devastated that Demetrius doesn't love her, but in this passage says she understands that he would run away from her because she is so ugly. She knows that Demetrius loves Hermia, and wishes that she were as pretty as Hermia so that Demetrius would love her instead.
