Eventually everyone does! There are many deaths in this narrative. Victor Frankenstein's younger brother, William, has been murdered, and the accused killer, Justine, has been executed. Victor's new wife Elizabeth has been killed. And finally Victor Frankenstein himself, the scientist who created the monster, dies on board a ship. The monster himself presumably dies in the frozen Arctic wilderness, since he is never seen again.
