Napoleon chased snowball of the farm so easily because afterwards he spoke about how the snowball was a coward and is used as a scapegoat throughout the story. Napoleon later changes how the animals view the battle of the cowshed by saying that Snowball was on the side of Mr. Jones and he came in the night and ate all of the crops. Snowball also reportedly lived on foxwood with Mollie.
