A works cited page appears at the end of a research paper. Works cited means the same as references. For the format you should begin Works Cited page on a separate page at the end of your research paper. Should have last name, and page number in the header like the rest of your paper. Label page Works Cited at the top of page centered. Double space all citations, but don’t skip lines. Indent the second and subsequent lines of citations by 0.5 inches to create a hanging indent. Source should be in alphabetical order.

A works cited list is a list of sources used for information (a chart, a database, etc.) on a paper, project, article, etc. Works cited usually are in MLA format
