After Lancelot tells Vivien he needs to devote himself to his work, she gives him an ultimatum.

Lancelot says he needs three years to devote himself to his work, but Vivien is having none of it. She tells him he can have three hours instead. If he will not agree to marry her by the time three hours are up, she says she'll marry someone else.

While the three hours pass, Vivien goes to visit Guenevere. Vivien tells her she plans to do whatever she can to convince Lancelot to marry her.
