Does this sound good or no?

Life you tell me

Follow your heart

But when I do it gets hurt,

You say tell the truth

But when I do someone gets offended,

You say if you got nothing nice to say don't say anything at all

But when I do people think I'm ignoring them,

You say things will get better if I wait

But I've been waiting and nothing's changed,

You say roses are red and violets are blue

But roses can be white

And violets are purple

You say words don't hurt

But they really do

Life why do you lie to me so?
