    The book titled A Long Way Gone is memoirs of Sierra-Leonean author and former child soldier during Sierra-Leone Civil War. Beah not only talks about the war, but also his childhood and the life before the war. The book is written in 2007, but describes the events of 90s when the Civil War broke out.
