Five negative impacts social networks have on individuals rights to privacy and safety

While social media is good way to meet friends and even establish business relations with others there are some negative impacts that it has:

1. Cyber-bullying which has caused emotional stress among teenagers.

2. It weakens our relationship with people in the real world as we are too involved in social media.

3. Exposure of our secret details which are now made visible on the web.

4. Stalking. Some people are able to get into our accounts and use it to stalk us.

5. Identity theft. If we are not careful with our data, particularly our account numbers, people would take it online and use it for their own gain.
