For Constance, The Academy was the only dance school in New York. If she wasn't accepted to study there, well, then she didn't even want to dance anymore. Auditions were in two weeks, and even though her mother was angry that Constance was missing her brother's graduation in order to practice, she didn't care. She had to get in.
