When there is no page number listed for a direct quote of a source which of the following is the correct way to cite the source in text

    In MLA citation format, if you don't have a page number, you'll cite it by the author's last name in parentheses. if there isn't an author, you cite it by the first piece of information you have in your works cited--whether it be the article title or publisher.
