Explain why earthquakes are common around the ring of fire

The Ring of Fire is a ring of volcanoes around the Pacific Ocean that are from the oceanic plates beneath lighter continental plates. Most of the Earth's volcanoes are around the Pacific Ring of Fire because that's the location of most of the Earth's seduction zones.
