The Ming dynasty is one of the most important Chinese dynasties of all time. They were located in the eastern part of China, with two capitals: the first one was in Nanjing (Yingtian prefecture), whereas the second one was Beijing (Shuntian prefecture). The Ming dynasty ruled from 1368 to 1644.
