How the control of weather and climate affect specific elements

Weather and climate affect certain elements of the physical condition of the earth. Weather is the day to day changes in temperature and precipitation whereas climate is weather trends over the long term like the dry season and the wet season in the northern tropics (Tropic of Cancer zone) or a warm, humid climate like in Vancouver, BC or a dry climate like in Kamloops, BC or the Sonora Desert. Some of the elements that are affected by these two are in geology, weathering and erosion and also the abundance of fresh water both on surface and underground. Weathering and erosion are greater where there are warm temperatures and high humidity.
