How much of Georgia does the Piedmont Region take up?

    The hilly region of piedmont takes up approximately thirty percent of Georgia. Even though it's the second largest in size, it has the most population. Piedmont sit approximately 500 feet above sea level and 1700 feet at the southern edge of the blue ridge mountains.
