Why are stars and solar systems separated in the diagram below?

Galaxies are made up of some stars that have objects orbiting them and some stars that do not.

Stars describe the star itself and solar systems describe the orbiting objects.

Some galaxies are made up of stars and some are made up of solar systems.

Scientists are not sure of the distinction between a star and a solar system.

    It's "A" - Galaxies are made up of some stars that have objects orbiting them and some stars that do not. I am 100% sure, I just took the test.
