The Eastern Highlands are located in eastern Zimbabwe. They are represented by three mountains, Nyanga, Bvumba (Vumba) and Chimanimani.

Nyanga is the rainiest of the three, has the densest forest and richest wildlife. It is also the highest mountain in Zimbabwe.

Bvumba (Vumba) is known for the mist, cool air, coffee plantations.

Chimanimani has nice botanical reserves and beautiful waterfalls, it is the lowest of the three.

The electricity in this region is produced by using the water power and the wind power.
